FABRICS

• Natural colours, such as green,
brown, purple, blue to emphasize the
beauty of nature and bring it closer.
• Bold shades, such as chocolate tones,
navy blue, peach to make a statement.
Fabric blinds, whether roller or Roman
fitted with black-out lining are away the
most effective ways to block out light.
Whether having a blind professionally
made and installed or doing one yourself,
something to consider is where one fits
the blind. Depending on the style of the
window frame, one could fit the blind into
the window itself or on the outside of the
window frame.
Vertical blinds have their slats arranged
in a vertical fashion and are typically made
from fabric connected to a sliding rail.
They have a relaxed and graceful aesthetic
with a simple mechanism making them
more accessible and some modern versions
even come with motorised mechanisms,
which make operating them a lot easier. dw
