predominated in the furniture and décor, creating an exhilarating
contrast between the outer envelope and the cosy interior.

The La Nony FAMILI team crafted a unique and cohesive universe
by custom-designing most of the furniture for the project, and
integrating ample storage volumes without cluttering the space. The
remaining furnishings and accessories were carefully selected from
renowned manufacturers, mostly Canadian, such as Perez Furniture,
with lighting selections from Anony and Luminaires Authentik.

In an ecological effort, the kitchen retained its appliances and
cabinets, with only the façades and countertops being replaced.
Custom oversized handles, a new island, and a mosaic wall completed
           this transformation.

American cherry, a locally sourced wood species rarely used, was
chosen for the custom furniture in the living spaces. Its iconic
reddish-brown hue warms and energises these areas, while walnut
was preferred in more intimate spaces for its elegance and depth,
adding an extra touch of refinement.

The McPherson Residence pays homage to the modern style of the
mid-20th century, while fully embracing its era. Through precise
interventions and thoughtful consideration of materials and forms,
the La Nony FAMILI team transformed the space into a home that is
both chic, functional, and welcoming. dw
