Brussels, Montreal, and now Munich, all
of which have profoundly influenced her
understanding of belonging and identity,
and have shaped her material sensibility
and body of work. Over the years, she
has cultivated a deep interest in natural,
historical, and architectural artifacts,
exploring the interplay between the old
and the new, as well as the transient aspects
of a fast-paced world and centuries-old
craftsmanship methods.
Since 2021, Boyan’s work has been
showcased at Dubai Design Week, Dutch
Design Week, London Design Festival,
IDS Toronto, Souk Montréal, and NYC
