The office of
the future
Top 5 Design
Trends for 2021
here is no doubt in anyone’s minds
that the COVID pandemic has
Tchanged the way we work forever.
In response, companies across the globe
are having to adjust to innovate new ways
to work and to the challenges of trying to
keep employees safe. Forecasted, the latest
trend this year will pivot on agility and
mobility for workers. More companies are
looking into the option that they can be
remotely fully operational with their staff,
and are considering ditching their office
spaces for a “cheaper” work from home
solution – but at what cost?
Decreased engagement and productivity
directly affects the revenue of a business.
With statistics showing that companies
that have invested in creating an engaging
workplace have reported a 21% increase in
profit, a 41% decrease in absenteeism, and
four times more revenue.
If the pandemic has taught us anything,
it is that few people like isolation. The
rise of activity on social media when
people were social distancing proved that
without human connection most people
are not as productive as they had hoped.
The challenge is to unlock individual
employees’ productivity, therein lies the
latest trend to look forward to this year.
