                                                                                  Landscape  architecture  practice
                                                                                Salad Dressing, was founded in 2002 by
                                                                                Chang Huai-Yan, after his training in
                                                                                architecture, landscaping and horticulture
                                                                                under acclaimed landscape gardener
                                                                                Michael White in Bali. Hy, passionate
                                                                                about the natural world, has since grown
                                                                                the company to work internationally.
                                                                                From 2012, Salad Dressing began their
                                                                                work with WOHA architects - initially on
                                                                                a hotel resort in Indonesia, which began
                                                                                their now ever present focus on biophilic
                                                                                design and interest in natural ecosystems,
                                                                                climate change and multidisciplinary
                                                                                work in the field. Today, Salad Dressing
                                                                                seeks not only to provide a service to
                                                                                clients, but to create an expression of
                                                                                what is truly happening in the landscape
                                                                                surrounding us.
                                                                                  In 2021, Salad Dressing  are
                                                                                presenting their speculative landscape
                                                                                project ‘Rewilding the Sky’ as part
                                                                                of the Singaporean Pavilion at the
                                                                                Venice Architecture Biennale, as well
                                                                                as collaborating with WOHA on the
                                                                                biophilic Singaporean Pavilion at the
                                                                                World Expo in Dubai.
