characteristics of the armchairs 'à
oreillettes' - with ears -, or bergère,
a timeless classic that has spread
throughout the world since the 1700s in
France to become a contemporary design
theme. The oversized headrest is its iconic
sign: it stands out from the shell and slims
it down to create a cozy, intimate, thick
seat used as a place to read or relax, even
within collective spaces. Bross retraces
this pattern with the WAM collection and
the new 2024 Peggy, both designed by
Marco Zito and dedicated to residential,
hospitality, and office projects.
