KSA update, May 2024.
ur highlight for May was the KSA Gauteng Industry showcase.
The aim of this annual, popular KSA event is to allow the built
Oenvironment industry to engage with KSA supplier members and
network in a relaxed festive atmosphere. This year our three hundred plus
guests were hosted by Articad, PG Bison, Greenlam, Roco Fittings, Boardmart,
Sonae Arauco, Max on Top, Grass, Union Tiles, Just Stone, Vogue Doors,
Upper Edge Products, Kwikot, Morrells and Samsung.

full engagement of professionals with each host supplier.
CPD talks were hosted by Sonae Arrouco who presented a very informative
talk on built environment statistics and trends. Union Tile’s talk on large
format tiles and porcelain surfacing was next. The last talk of the day was
on board trends from PG Bison. The new addition to the CPD talks was

and SACAP. It took the form of a panel discussion between Stephanie Forbes
(national manager of the KSA), Hermien Klopper (interior designer and IID
member) and Jean Grové (architect and SACAP member). The topic was
Cooperation and dispute avoidance amongst built environment players. Each
panel member outlined the issues and frustrations their sector faces when
working together on projects, and then the panel brainstormed how these
